As students progress, they need
to make important decisions that can influence
the rest of their lives. Solution Focus Psychology
helps students with vocational guidance as we recognise
that choosing subjects in year 10 through to career
choices in year 11 can be challenging.
The benefit of a realistic appraisal of abilities,
interests, values and attitudes helps students to
make informed and considered decisions about their
future. This also assists them to identify their
preferred career choices and work environments.
Effective groundwork in Year 10 can lead to more
appropriate subject choices for Years 11 and 12.
Vocational guidance for these years will help students
stay more focused, feel confident with their direction
and ultimately, make satisfying career choices
Our Vocational Guidance Program is aimed at preventing
limited career options that result from poor decisions
during the final school years. We provide comprehensive
student assessment that identifies abilities, interests
and aptitudes necessary for appropriate vocational
decision making.
