Managing Crisis and Trauma
Accidents, grief and loss, traumatic incidents and crises can occur at any time. SFP’s Critical Incident Response Services provide an immediate and effective response to trauma or critical incidents. Our interventions help minimise the effect of these events on the organisation, enabling employees to return to work as soon as possible.

How does SFP respond to a crisis in your workplace?
Following notification by you, counsellors will be provided to assist your staff within 4 hours. An assessment of the staff and organisational needs will be conducted in consultation with the nominated contact person in your organisation. We provide counselling and debriefing on a group or individual basis.

Ongoing counselling may be required depending on staff adjustment during the weeks following a critical or traumatic event. Our focus will be to manage the effects of the event on employee functioning in relation to work and personal life.
